Fingertips supports Barrigas de Amor (Bellies of Love)
Portugal is ageing as 20% of the Portuguese population is over 65. In the last few decades less and less Portuguese have been born.
In 2009 there were only 99,000 recorded births, the lowest since 1917 and if this does not change the population will be less than 2 million in the near future. Portugal is now rated 8th in the world as the most aged population.
We have to adopt concrete actions to change this and that is why the project Barrigas de Amor was created. 4 years ago the Barrigas de Amor put the deficit of births on the agenda and has made every moment part of its mission to be an expert in matters of birth, family and of sustainability.
The FINGERTIPS has supported this project from the start and we are counting on you also. The future of our society is in our hands.
